In accepting of your lack of acceptance

You’ve typecasted my entire kin

Yet we wish and live for a peaceful existence

Out of fear from your tribalism

We find ourselves in forced isolation

We witness our potential killed by this growing chasm

And our heart breaks

Generational victims to vague segregations

Resulting in your own seclusion

You toss and turn at the thought of your assumptions

Yet in what is only your discomfort

Is our genuine sailing pain and sorrow

We smile and hope that you will soon accept our consort

As our future fades
