As these treading daydreams,

Heavily contrast the present domain,

Your thoughts start to resent the freedom of others,

And the dread of multiple burdens blend into your bile ridden bane.

When you gleefully glided and neglected your privilege,

You now lay at a foreign and frothing edge.

Through invisible means all forms of release were torn,

Replaced with never ending hurdles that foretell of promises stillborn.

You still hear their amplified cries,

Now that distractions are slaughtered,

Their shattered voices echo only to agonize.

Their tormented screams obstruct your own airway,

For their presence shall always stay.

Disintegrated in knowing that there will always be another,

You aimlessly protect those untethered,

In hopes that they will perish in their collective arms, together.
